Preferably ones that have been worn around all day without shoes, so the bottoms are all groady. I think this thread is awesome, because I remember the thread (I guess 6 months ago) that Red Barchetta started asking what he should do to get this girl to go out with him (or something like that. Since get to go out with him everyone would say roofies), since he never dated before. In an endearing way) would work well for the 6 month celebration. Like Cal Meacham said you could always give her wood. (I meant Toy Story 3 starring Tom Hanks as Woody on DVD, gross-o.) Every year on the anniversary of our first date we go and have dinner at the same table at the same resturant. However if you just drunkenly hooked up at a party all bets are off.
I dunno, I think the worst option would be a pair of cheap white crew socks, the kind that come 12 to a pack for and hit about mid-calf.

We already have plans for dinner (made by her) so I want to do something to show I care for her (though I also don't want to go overboard either--we'll save that for the year anniversary ;). But you have to take the time to find one that really resonates with her/your relationship and isn't just generic. For our one-year anniversary (paper), I made her a framed origami Bride and Groom.
For our six month wedding anniversary, I gave Pepper Mill a pair of wooden chopsticks (wood is the material for the traditional six-year wedding gift, but there isn't one for six months). I meant you'd borrow the other person's mp3 player to put stuff on it, not to gank songs for a mix tape. Shame, really, because deep down inside I always thought I'd have a chance to inflict The Ataris' Song for a Mix Tape on some chick.
